Utah Scenic Byways

Utah’s scenic byways are a system of 27 statewide routes, all major roads regularly traveled. Utah’s byways are the paths less traveled, worlds away from the mainstream. There are varied landscapes, recreational adventures and attractions.

The Great Western Trail runs north/south through the center of our state.

Our area includes: Highway 12, Highway 14 -The Markaguant High Plateau, Highway 143 - Cedar Breaks and the Brian Head - Panguitch lake byway, Highway 153 - Beaver Canyon and Highway 9 - the Mt Carmel & Zion Park byway and the Kolob Fingers Road.
